Ceremonies and Activities
University Commencement Ceremony
The University Commencement Ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of all of our graduates with a great deal of excitement, student and administration speakers, a keynote address, and the presentation of this year’s graduates. Graduates are encouraged to get creative and decorate their grad caps and regalia.
Schools and Colleges
In addition to the University Commencement Ceremony, each school and college will be hosting ceremonies. Department and program faculty are present to individually recognize graduates as they cross the stage, receive their diploma cover, and "turn their tassel" to mark the transition from student to graduate. Each school or college plans its own ceremony. Please contact your department directly if you have any specific questions regarding these ceremonies.
Grad Fest and Alumni Events
Commencement celebrations will continue across campus throughout both days. More information will be coming about these opportunities to celebrate, connect, and make the most of your commencement experience.
